Positive: Two bathroom apartments are hard to find. So we were pleased with that. We finally managed to gain access to the property after two phone calls with the managing agency. We did not report our problems to Felipe until we had left, because we were only there for 3 nights. I sent him a WhatsApp with photos to prove my points, and he said he was grateful for the information, so I assume that he resolved all the issues that existed. I have delayed writing this for too long.

Negative: We were travelling by train through Europe, and we found that the location was too far out of Bologna, which was a disappointment. We only stayed for 3 nights so that we could do our laundry. On arrival, we found the tumble dryer was full on bedding which we removed and folded so that we could use the facilities. We thought that there should have been more cutlery and crockery for a group of four people and we struggled to find a tea-towel or dishcloth. The balcony area looked like the 'wreck of the Marie Celeste '. Many of the plants were dead through neglect. We couldn't sit on the furniture because it was covered in leaves, twigs and bugs. There were ants in one of the bedrooms and in the dining area. There were lipstick marks on two cups. Clearly, the apartment was not thoroughly checked before the cleaning staff left the property. We also thought the list of rules were overbearing for visitors that you want to enjoy their experience in your fine capital.
