You'll certainly start the day with a good breakfast with croissants and fresh bread from the nearby bakery, and then you'll decide whether to go skiing in the whole Portes du Soleil area or to wander around the resort's lively streets, without using the car, which will probably remain in the garage. At the end of the day, there's nothing like a stroll through the old village of Le Pied de la Plagne, followed by a visit to the nearby chapel, built in the early 19th century to ward off storms, before enjoying an aperitif on the sunset terrace. In summer, you can walk or cycle to the Dérèches water park and skate park, taking advantage of the sun-sheltered paths along the river.
