Inaugurated in June 1934, the Gratte-Ciel buildings of Villeurbanne are 80 years old. A social and architectural masterpiece, this ensemble of buildings with modern perspectives for the time has become the emblem of the city.

La Maison Gratte Ciel is located in the heart of the lively Villeurbanne district. It features a beautiful private garden of 60 m², quiet and tree-filled. You can park your bikes on the designated rack (please bring your own lock). The Gratte-Ciel metro station, just 4 minutes on foot, provides access to the Lyon Presqu'île, including the famous Place Bellecour in just 10 minutes. The metro also connects to the chic 6th district and La Part-Dieu (train station and shopping mall), Les Halles Paul Bocuse, and Lyon’s Auditorium.

Nearby shops within walking distance: Jacquier Bakery-Pastry Shop, Ninkasi Gratte-Ciel, Carrefour.

Activities include: Boulloche Pool, National Popular Theater, Maison du Livre de l'Image et du Son, Studio 24, Astroballe (ASVEL), and the former Bayard or Bally factories.

Note: No oil, salt, pepper, or paper towels provided.

At the entrance of the house, you will find:

A display with brochures and maps of the metro and the city.
A black "POST" box to leave feedback on your experience at La Maison Gratte-Ciel.

## Access

The entire apartment, as well as the garden shared with other tenants of the house. There are 8 units in the house, each with its own private entrance and lock. If you're traveling with a group, feel free to contact us to book multiple units.

## Transit

The area is very well served by buses, metro, and bike stations.

Gare Part-Dieu / Apartment (23 min): To get to the apartment from Part-Dieu train station, take Metro Line B towards Charpennes and get off at Charpennes. Then transfer to Metro Line A towards Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie and get off at Gratte-Ciel. The apartment is a 10-minute walk.

Airport St Exupéry / Apartment (45 min): To get to the apartment from St Exupéry airport, take the Rhône Express to Part-Dieu, then transfer to Metro Line A towards Perrache and get off at Gratte-Ciel. The apartment is a 10-minute walk.

No smoking in common areas or rooms. A designated smoking area is provided in the garden.
No parties or loud noise after 9 pm.

Only one key set is provided per stay.
Garden Information:
The garden is a private space shared among the 8 tenants and is closed after 9 pm to ensure the tranquility of the place and avoid disturbing neighbors.
No tables or chairs are allowed in the garden.
There is a bike rack, but please bring your own lock. The establishment cannot be held responsible for theft or damage.
A designated ashtray is available. Please dispose of cigarette butts in it and do not throw them in the garden.
Trash bins are available for general waste and recycling. Please dispose of your trash before leaving.
Rental Information:
For stays longer than 3 months, it is a mobility lease. Only tenants who can justify professional mobility can rent the apartment.
